SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9.21.2020

NOTE: The ABC numbers below do not include live viewing in the Pacific Time Zone from 5-8PM, including Las Vegas, Oakland and Los Angeles. The ABC portion of NFL MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALLshould rise about +15% in the official Monday broadcast nationals. The game also aired as usual on ESPN, and that audience will be available later with the Monday cable nationals. 

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  With the limitations noted above, the preliminary rating for the ABC portion of MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was 1.6.

CBS:  After reruns at 0.3/0.3, LOVE ISLAND gained 0.1 to 0.5.  The Spectrum cable retread MANHUNT: DEADLY GAMES debuted on broadcast at 0.3.

NBC:  AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR was steady at 0.5, and DATELINE was at 0.4.

FOX:  Another Spectram cast-off LA’S FINEST launched at 0.5, and the new FILTHY RICH premiered at a grim 0.4.

CW:  The new and rerun WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY and PENN & TELLER: FOOL US were all up 0.1 to 0.2.

Tonight, ABC airs a relocated DANCING WITH THE STARS, followed by the special TIME 100.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.
