SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9.17.2018

THE EMMYS held its early number.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  THE EMMY AWARDS are at a preliminary 2.1, the same as 2017.  Last year’s telecast adjusted up to 2.5, and we’ll see this afternoon if the final number is the same.

FOX:  INSIDE THE MANSON CULT: THE LOST TAPES counterprogrammed THE EMMYS at 0.7.

CBS:  The season finale of SALVATION stayed at 0.4 (down from 0.6 in 2017), and the season finale of ELEMENTARY was up 0.1 to 0.5 (steady with 2017, although that was on a Sunday in the regular season) .

ABC:  Two episodes of CASTAWAYS were at 0.6/0.6, followed by a rerun of THE GOOD DOCTOR at 0.6.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

There are season finales tonight for CASTAWAYS, LOVE CONNECTION and BEAT SHAZAM.  In addition, NBC indulges in some self-promotion with THE PALEY CENTER SALUTES THIS IS US.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
