No one watches Salvation because it’s genuinely a poor show. It should have been a one and done event series, as it lacks the writing talent & premise to keep it interesting for more than a single season. Under the Dome suffered the same way.

Limited premises like these shows usually don’t fare well, there’s just no longevity here and it really shows.

      • Destiny

Pretty much. With such a weak premise, they had to do what any show would do to keep it going. Plot a story about something other than the asteroid.

Kinda hard to do that when it’s an end of the world scenario and dragging that on doesn’t work, same with Under the Dome where it was literally people trapped in a dome and they had to come up with more ridiculous stuff to keep it going.

Agreed. Some things I thought were awful.

            1) Hacker group taking control of a nuke and threatening everyone if they don’t comply.

            2) The murder investigation into a character no one cares about.

            3) Tanz in the White House.

            4) The “Former” “bad” President with his little coop plan thing.

There’s a few other plot threads floating around that are so amateur. The show deserves to die.

          • FlopWatch

Yeah, they’re dragging things out with useless/uninteresting subplots and are all completely trivial considering the threat of the asteroid and the end of the world.

I can’t believe they put Salvation in the Elementary time slot last night. I was looking forward to watching Elementary, not Salvation. So when will that Elementary episode that was supposed to be on, be shown?
