THE SKED MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5/28/12

A slow Memorial Day evening for the networks.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was the night’s big show with a 2.7, and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR won the rest of the night with 2.0, but both were down 0.4 from the previous week.  In the battle of reruns at 10PM, GRIMM was in 2d place with 0.9.

ABC:  THE BACHELORETTE‘s 1.8 was down a hefty 0.6 from last week, then CASTLE brought up the rear at 10PM with 0.8.

CBS:  An all-rerun night was steady, with all 5 shows at 1.1-1.3.  The sitcoms were in 3rd place from 8-10PM, then HAWAII 5-0 won the 10PM hour.

FOX:  HOUSE reruns were at 0.7-0.8.

CW:  Reruns at 0.3.

The networks do some plate-clearing tonight, with ABC featuring its last COUGAR TOWN (an hour-long wedding episode that in happier days was meant to be a big season finale) before the show moves to TBS next year, and CW airing the last episode of THE LA COMPLEX till that low-rated show reportedly returns in July to finish out its run.  CW also premieres a new unscripted series THE CATALINA, and FOX features 4, count ’em 4, reruns of NEW GIRL, for those who aren’t getting a sufficient Zooey Deschanel fix from the nonstop iPhone commercials that feature her.
