Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT has previously been a summer show, and its May 2018 premiere was at 2.3.  Airing in-season, it kicked off at 1.8.  MANIFEST followed at 1.1, steady with its last original episode (when it had a 1.6 lead-in from THE VOICE).

ABC:  THE BACHELOR returned with a 3-hour premiere at 1.5, slightly better than the 1.4 2-hour premiere in January 2018.

CBS:  The only new show was an episode of HAPPY TOGETHER at 0.8.  It was surrounded by reruns at 0.5-1.1.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.4/0.4.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

In most of the country, tonight’s primetime will be disrupted by a live Presidential speech at 9PM ET.
