A few notes: these projections are for original episodes (no repeats) aired in the 4th quarter of 2011.  Series premieres will likely be .3-.4 higher, thanks to network marketing pushes, and then tend to go down over time.  We’ll be updating the numbers after we see full pilots and also as we get a feel for the networks’ summer promotional campaigns.

A Gifted Man should be very soft for CBS at 8 pm, lower than the cancelled Medium.

Chuck should do a little better than the unscripted programming NBC had in Fall 2010, but not surprisingly down from its Monday performance.

Fringe should be steady with its Spring 2011 numbers in the slot,  as it manages to beat Grimm in a battle of fantasy thrillers.   (Note, Grimm doesn’t even do as well as Dateline did in the hour last year).
Overall, not a very good outlook for new scripted shows on a very tough night.
