The NFL’s preseason isn’t as dominant as the league will shortly become, but it does the job.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

CBS:  The NFL PRESEASON Cleveland vs. Tampa Bay game won the night at a preliminary 1.3.

NBC:  The network’s first non-Olympics Friday since July featured an AMERICA’S GOT TALENT rerun at 0.9, and DATELINE at 1.1.

ABC:  After a 0.8 SHARK TANK rerun, WHAT WOULD YOU DO and 20/20 are currently each up 0.3 to 0.9, pending adjustment for local NFL preemptions.

CW:  MASTERS OF ILLUSION is up 0.3 to 0.5 for now, with another rerun episode and a PENN & TELLER: FOOL US rerun at 0.5.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.6-0.7.

Remember AQUARIUS?  It’s back for a two-episode-at-a-time burn-off on NBC.  ABC’s BOSTON EMS ends its season, FOX has UFC coverage, and CBS has more NFL PRESEASON.  Sunday, though, is jam-packed with events.  The MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS will simulcast across the Viacom portfolio of networks, and there are finales for HBO’s THE NIGHT OF and Showtime’s ROADIES, as well as the return of FX’s THE STRAIN.
