Viewers aren’t excited about gymnastics yet.

NBC:  The Summer Olympics are on the way, and NBC, hoping to stoke the demand, aired the P&G GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIP for a preliminary 0.9.  It was preceded by another sports-related special, THE RANCH, which was even lower at 0.6.

ABC:  After a 0.8 SHARK TANK rerun, WHAT WOULD YOU DO was down 0.1 to 0.8, but 20/20 topped the night with a 0.2 rise to 1.0.

CW:  The new MASTERS OF ILLUSION stayed at 0.3, followed by reruns at 0.2/0.3.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.6-0.7.

The pre-Olympics programming continues over the weekend, with NBC coverage of the OLYMPIC TRIALS.  On Sunday, ABC introduces its all-retro game show line-up, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD and then THE 100,000 PYRAMID and THE MATCH GAME.  On cable, Showtime launches the new ROADIES and the season premiere of RAY DONOVAN, but they’ll have to face off with HBO’s season finales of GAME OF THRONES, SILICON VALLEY and VEEP.
