SHOWBUZZDAILY FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8.16.2019

Note: Friday numbers are again inflated slightly by a few pre-emptions on most networks for NFL PRESEASON games.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

ABC:  Currently, WHAT WOULD YOU DO is steady at 0.5, and 20/20 is down 0.1 to 0.4, preceded by reruns at 0.4/0.3.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.3-0.4.

NBC:  DATELINE is up 0.1 to 0.5 for now, preceded by an AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR rerun at 0.6.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.3/0.3.

CW:  MASTERS OF ILLUSION is currently up 0.2 to 0.3, followed by reruns at 0.2/0.2.

Primetime tonight is empty even by summer Saturday standards.  Tomorrow, the turnover continues on pay-TV, with finales for Starz’s THE ROOK and SWEETBITTER, as well as Showtime’s CITY ON A HILL, along with the premiere of HBO’s THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES.
