SHOWBUZZDAILY FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 6.26.2020

 

The DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS didn’t liven things up.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After a SHARK TANK rerun at 0.5, 20/20 held at 0.5.

CBS:  The DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS returned to broadcast TV for the first time in almost a decade, but was only able to reach 0.3.

NBC:  After reruns at 0.3/0.4, DATELINE gained 0.1 to 0.4.

FOX:  WWE SMACKDOWN was steady at 0.5.

CBS:  The new MASTERS OF ILLUSION stayed at 0.1, followed by reruns at 0.1/0.1/0.1.

Tonight, NBC airs the GLOBAL GOAL concert.  On Sunday, CBS simulcasts THE BET AWARDS with cable, HBO premieres I’LL BE GONE IN THE DARK, and Showtime has both the start of BLACK MONDAY’s back half of its season, and the finale of PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be Monday afternoon.
