SHOWBUZZDAILY FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.21.2018

Coal in the networks’ stockings.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

NBC:  The newly-canceled MIDNIGHT, TEXAS was steady at 0.4.  After 0.4 for a rerun AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, DATELINE dropped 0.3 to 0.5.

CW:  DYNASTY burned off an episode in the midst of the network’s rerun season, down 0.1 from its last airing to 0.1.  It was followed by a PENN & TELLER: FOOL US rerun at 0.1.

CBS:  The annual A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS special was at 0.5, followed by reruns at 0.4/0.5.

ABC:  After holiday-themed reruns at 0.7/0.5, 20/20 held at 0.5.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.4-0.5.

Tonight’s primetime features BOXING on FOX and another episode of the hapless ALEC BALDWIN SHOW.  On Sunday, CBS oddly airs a new MADAM SECRETARY not only on a night otherwise filled with reruns, but out of its normal timeslot.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back WEDNESDAY afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day, the first of many delays related to the Christmas Eve/Christmas holiday.
