>History’s Pawn Stars tops this week’s cable chart, with a 2.0 rating from 10:00-10:30 pm Monday with Adults 18-49.  Usually the 10:30 pm Pawn Stars is slightly higher rated (up a tenth of a rating point or two from 10:00 pm), but this week’s 10:30 episode came in a tenth of a point lower at a 1.9 rating.  Nonetheless, the Pawn Stars hour remained very competitive with the broadcast network competition in the Monday 10 pm hour: #1 ABC 20/20: Dance Floor Confidential 2.1 rating; #2 NBC Smash 2.0; #3 History Pawn Stars 2.0/1.9; #4 USA WWE 1.9; #5 CBS Hawaii Five-O repeat 1.6.

HBO’s Game of Thrones held steady at a 1.8 rating Sunday at 9 pm, behind only Celebrity Apprentice on NBC (2.1) and The Good Wife on CBS (1.9) despite being in only about one quarter of the US homes with television.  The hit HBO drama tied the Fox 25th Anniversary Special and beat the Hallmark Hall of Fame film Firelight on ABC (1.6).  Also impressively in the mix Sunday at 9 (usually the hour boasting the most viewers watching television each week), Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo pulled a 1.7 rating with Adults 18-49.

After Game of Thrones, the comedy Veep starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus premiered with a 0.6 rating.  Read more about the ratings for Veep and its 10:30 pm companion Girls here
