Box Office Mojo reports that with Monday’s receipts counted, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS (PART 2) has moved ahead of TRANSFORMERS:  DARK OF THE MOON, $344.9M to $344.7M, to become the top-grossing film in the US for 2011.  (Since Harry is earlier in its run and will be losing theatres more slowly, it should continue to gain ground.)

Harry Potter is already the #1 film worldwide for the year (and #3 of all time), and any second now it should become #1 internationally for 2011, since its overseas gross as of Sunday was just $7M behind PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN:  ON STRANGER TIDES
