UPDATED: SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Wednesday Cable Originals: 9.3.2014

 

Below are the ratings in key demos for Wednesday’s Top 25 original cable telecasts, along with a few lower-rated shows of interest.  If you’d like us to add any series to the latter list, please let us know.  Some context and analysis follow the chart.

Top 25 Cable WED Sep 3 2014

TEEN MOM (MTV) topped the night but lost a tenth at 0.95.  AMERICAN PICKERS (History) and WAHLBURGERS (A&E) were each up around half a tenth at 0.79 and 0.58, and AMERICAN RESTORATION (History) was down by the same margin to 0.53.  BRING IT! (Lifetime) shed 0.3 to 0.55. 

On the scripted side, THE LEAGUE (FXX) premiered a bit more weakly than it did last season, at 0.41 compared to 0.5.  GRACELAND (USA) gained half a tenth to 0.45.  THE BRIDGE (FX) rose 0.12 to 0.41, a much-needed boost for the bubble series.  On TNT, LEGENDS and FRANKLIN & BASH were steady but weak at 0.35/0.33.  The same was true of HOT IN CLEVELAND (TV Land) at 0.15.
