SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Wednesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 3.4.2015

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  EMPIRE was the only Wednesday show to grow from morning numbers, with an additional 0.1 that put its rating at an even more amazing 5.8.  Is there any doubt it’ll hit a 6 by its season finale in 2 weeks?

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

BET’s THE GAME took the Wednesday cable lead, up 0.03 to 0.70, but lead-in IT’S A MANN’S WORLD was down 0.06 to 0.17.  Discovery’s DUAL SURVIVAL was right behind THE GAME, up 0.14 to 0.69.  ESPN’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.63/0.49, the late game up more than a tenth from last week.  At VH1, MOB WIVES slipped 0.04 to 0.63, and HINDSIGHT lost a tick to 0.12.  LITTLE WOMEN LA (Lifetime) rose 0.04 to 0.57, and KOSHER SOUL gained 0.08 to 0.24.  CATFISH (MTV), last Wednesday’s top cable show, fell 0.21 to 0.55.  The season finale of SUITS (USA) dipped 0.1 to 0.55.  Comedy Central’s WORKAHOLICS lost 0.05 to 0.54, and BROAD CITY was down 0.02 to 0.42.  WAHLBURGERS (A&E) jumped 0.13 to 0.52, but DONNIE LOVES JENNY dipped 0.02 to 0.38.  FISHCENTER (Adult Swim) rose 0.03 from last Wednesday’s edition to 0.43.  On ABCFamily, MELISSA & JOEY and BABY DADDY were at 0.38/0.37, down from last week’s twin 0.43s.  FXX’s IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA gained 0.03 to 0.29, but MAN SEEKING WOMAN fell by almost half to 0.07.
