UPDATED with YOUNGER Details: SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Tuesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 3.31.2015

NETWORK UPDATE:  There was no mercy in the final numbers for WEIRD LONERS or THE DOVEKEEPERS.  However, THE VOICE, NCIS, THE FLASH and FOREVER all received 0.1 bumps.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

YOUNGER (TV Land) debuted with a 0.17 for its premiere half-hour last night, rising slightly to 0.18 for the 2d episode–not tremendous numbers, but better than the 0.11/0.10 for last week’s HOT IN CLEVELAND and SOUL MAN on the network.  UPDATE:  YOUNGER was also simulcast on Nick At Nite and Nick Jr, and it’s very much worth noting that it added an additional 0.16/0.16 and 662K/588K on the first and 0.04/0.03 and 200K/144K on the latter.  That gave it a cumulative total in the 10-11PM hour of 0.37/0.37, with 1.366M/1.195M total viewers, a much more reasonable haul (well above the 0.27 launch for last year’s JENNIFER FALLS).  It’s hard to tell at this point whether TV Land outsmarted itself by splintering the show’s audience on its first night, or whether it uncovered more potential fans who may follow the show to its home base next week.

On MTV, FINDING CARTER returned at 0.52, up 0.04 from last fall’s season finale.  It was notably strong in the network’s targeted F12-34 demo, where it had the night’s 2d highest rating at 1.45 (up 0.28 in that demo from the fall finale).  The series finale of COUGAR TOWN (TBS) was up 0.03 to 0.53.  Meanwhile, at the top of the night’s cable shows were the usual Tuesday hits.  A 2-hour 12 KIDS AND COUNTING (TLC) gained an impressive 0.44 to 1.24–season finale?–with 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS up 0.15 to 0.60, although lead-in RECOUNT, pushed back to 7PM, lost a tenth to 0.35.  Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS rose a tenth to 0.94, with NEWLYWEDS up a tick to 0.26.  On BET, BEING MARY JANE rose 0.21 to 0.75, and KEYSHIA COLE: ALL IN was at 0.34.  OWN’s IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG dropped 0.18 to 0.71.  On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 was up 0.05 to 0.67, and BRICKLEBERRY was at 0.38.  Lifetime’s DANCE MOMS had an extra 0.02 to 0.64.  COUNTING CARS (History) was at 0.62/0.52, down a few hundredths from last week, and GANGLAND UNDERCOVER was down 0.04 at 0.43.  JUSTIFIED (FX) gained 0.09 to 0.56.  AMISH MAFIA (Discovery) was at 0.55/0.54, steady with last week.  TNT’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.70/0.52, up more than a tenth from last week.  SIRENS (USA) dropped 0.07 to 0.25.
