SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Tuesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 10.21.2014

NETWORK UPDATE:  WORLD SERIES GAME 1 did manage to climb half a point in final numbers, but its final 3.4 was still far below last year’s 4.3 for Game 1.  AGENTS OF SHIELD found an extra 0.1, as did THE FLASH, and THE VOICE climbed 0.2, but MARRY ME (which probably started at 9:01PM) lost 0.1

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

5 of the Top 10 cable shows on Tuesday were reruns of THE BIG BANG THEORY (and 2 more were reruns of FAMILY GUY), but SONS OF ANARCHY (FX) ably carried the torch for original programming at 2.26, down just 0.02 from last week.  TLC’s 19 KIDS AND COUNTING slipped 0.04 to 0.97.  On Spike, INK MASTERS was up 0.09 to 0.78, and TATTOO NIGHTMARES was at 0.43.  MTV’s trio of comedies had AWKWARD at 0.57 (up 0.11), FAKING IT–which just received an additional 10-episode order– at 0.36 (up 0.05), and HAPPYLAND at 0.12 (down 0.04).  In the network’s target Female 12-34 demo, they were at 1.34/0.95/0.39.  On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 lost 0.11 to 0.76, and BRICKLEBERRY was down 0.15 to 0.42.  On ABCFamily, an episode of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS at 0.64 preceded FREAK OUT at 0.22.  USA’s 2 episodes of CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST were at 0.61/0.63, below last week by less than a tenth.  REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD (BET) toppled in its 2d week, from 1.18 to 0.54.  The just-renewed FACE OFF (Syfy) was up 0.04 to 0.54.  IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG (OWN) grew to 0.07 to 0.49, and BELOW DECK (Bravo) was up 0.11 to 0.56.  TRUE TORI (Lifetime) was at 0.35.  (Incidentally, that’s not a typo:  INFOMERCIALS on Adult Swim had a high enough rating at 4AM–0.34–to qualify as the 24th highest original programming of the evening.)
