SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Saturday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 1.24.2015

 

NOTE TO READERS:  Due to our upcoming Sundance Film Festival coverage, ratings posts for the rest of this week will largely be charts without text.  In addition, we may not be able to respond promptly to reader requests for specific ratings in the Comments.

NETWORK UPDATE:  UFC FIGHT NIGHT gained 0.1 to 1.2 in final numbers.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

Lifetime retained its hold on Saturday cable, following last week’s WHITNEY (which scored a 1.07) with WITH THIS RING at 0.85.  ESPN had 4 of the next 10 slots, with COLLEGE BASKETBALL at 0.63/0.58/0.47/0.39.  On Starz, BLACK SAILS returned to the air at 0.19.  HBO’s BOXING AFTER DARK was at 0.40/0.30.  SEX SENT ME TO THE ER (TLC) was up 0.12 to 0.46 (with UNTOLD STORIES OF THE ER also up 0.12 to 0.39, and ALL ABOUT SEX TALK at 0.29), PIONEER WOMAN (Food) rose 0.06 to 0.44, and MYTHBUSTERS (Discovery) gained 0.05 to 0.44.  The Syfy and Hallmark original movies were at 0.32 and 0.26.  TNT’s THE TRANSPORTER went up 0.07 to 0.24.  UFC PRELIMS (FS1) were at 0.29 in the 18-49 demo with 607K total viewers.
