SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Friday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 10.10.2014

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  ABC’s only adjustment, now that Nielsen has corrected its mistakes, was an 0.1 rise for SHARK TANK.  DATELINE also gained 0.1, as did HAWAII 5-0 BLUE BLOODS, but BLUE BLOODS HAWAII 5-0 lost the same amount.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts Friday (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

TBS’s coverage of the AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS topped Friday cable at 1.68, up more than half a point from the Division playoffs last Friday, and more than double the 2d show of the night, Syfy’s WWE  series at 0.78, down just 0.01 from last week.  Syfy’s lead-out Z NATION lost 0.11 to 0.42, and the network has moved the final episodes of HAVEN to the fringes of primetime at 7PM, where it was at 0.21, roughly the same result it had on Thursdays at 8PM.  GIRL MEETS WORLD (Disney) was at 0.53, followed by JESSIE at 0.49.  ESPN’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL game was down a tenth from last week to 0.47.  BERING SEA GOLD (Discovery) gained a tenth to 0.47.  The season’s next-to-last episode of THE KNICK (Cinemax) was steady in 18-49s at 0.09, but lost about 10% of its total viewers to 319K.
