NETWORK FINALS:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and HOTEL HELL gained 0.1 in final numbers, but NBC’s REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION coverage and the 8:30PM rerun of FRESH OFF THE BOAT lost the same.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  USA’s WWE SMACKDOWN made its move from Thursday to Tuesday, and easily topped the night’s cable with 1.18, more than double last Thursday’s 0.56.  OWN’s THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS rose 0.05 to 0.80.  Once again, REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION coverage put FOX News and CNN into the Top 10, and FOX News had a slim lead in the main 10PM hour (0.72 to 0.61) and a much bigger lead in total viewers (5.2M to 3.1M).  See Mitch Metcalf’s RNC ratings post for much more detail about last night’s Convention numbers and the ratings to date. Discovery’s THE DEADLIEST CATCH rose 0.07 to 0.60, with THE BAIT up 0.03 to 0.27.  Bravo’s BELOW DECK climbed by 0.07 to 0.58.  On Freeform, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS lost 0.03 to 0.57, and DEAD OF SUMMER was steady at 0.22. Nickelodeon’s late afternoon LOUD HOUSE hit the Top 10 at 0.50.  On Food Network, CHOPPED GRILL MASTERS was up 0.04 to 0.47, and at 11PM, CHOPPED AFTER HOURS was at 0.36, and CHOPPED JR was up 0.04 to 0.31.  TBS’s WRECKED gained 0.03 to 0.43. TNT’s ANIMAL KINGDOM held at 0.42. History’s line-up was again two pairs of half-hours, and COUNTING CARS was at 0.41/0.37 compared to last week’s 0.37/0.36, while BIG EASY MOTORS was at 0.36/0.32 compared to 0.30/0.23.  On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 remained at 0.40, and NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER rose 0.04 to 0.25.  E!’s BOTCHED gained 0.06 to 0.38, and FAMOUSLY SINGLE was up 0.07 to 0.29.  TLC’s LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD edged up 0.02 to 0.33, but MY GIANT LIFE lost 0.04 to 0.27.  On BET, MUSIC MOGULS gained 0.02 to 0.17, and F IN FABULOUS stayed at 0.13. MTV’s SCREAM fell 0.04 to 0.16, and a post-show was at 0.08.  AMC’s FEED THE BEAST managed a 0.03 rise to 0.13.  Lifetime’s GOLD MEDAL FAMILIES nearly doubled, albeit to 0.13.
