EXPANDED NETWORK REPORT (since there was no text this morning):

NBC:  YOU, ME AND THE APOCALYPSE premiered at 1.2, a bit better than what HEROES REBORN had been doing in the slot, but nothing to be excited about.  It did hold very steadily through the hour, which is a good sign.  THE BLACKLIST remained at 1.6, and SHADES OF BLUE lost a tenth to 1.3.

CW:  LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and THE 100 each lost 0.1 from last week’s premieres to 1.1 and 0.6.

CBS:  After 90 minutes of reruns topp3d by a 2.0 THE BIG BANG THEORY, ANGEL FROM HELL held last week’s 1.4, and ELEMENTARY was up 0.1 to 1.2.

ABC:  BEYOND THE TANK and MY DIET IS BETTER THAN YOURS each rose a tenth to 1.1 and 0.7.

FOX:  AMERICAN IDOL was down 0.1 from last Thursday to 2.3.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The measure of the Trump-less REPUBLICAN DEBATE depends on what it’s compared to.  Its 2.27 was just slightly below the Fox Business News debate (2.43) on November 11, but far lower compared to the 3.84 CNN earned on December 15.  Related programming also gave FOX News 3 other slots in the Top 10.

It’s a smooth segue from the debate to WWE, and USA’s telecast was up 0.05 to 0.87, with COLONY  hearteningly up 0.07 to 0.46.  Spike’s LIP SYNC BATTLE gained back some ground after 2 weeks of big drops, up 0.16 to 0.83.  On A&E, NIGHTWATCH rose a tenth to 0.63, while THE FIRST 48 ticked down to 0.58.  HGTV’s FLIP OR FLOP gained 0.04 to 0.58, with HOUSE HUNTERS at 0.42.  TNT’s NBA doubleheader was led by 0.53 for the late game, with 0.42 in primetime.  ESPN aired COLLEGE BASKETBALL at 0.45.  On Bravo, TOP CHEF lost 0.07 to 0.43, and RECIPE FOR DECEPTION edged down 0.01 to 0.15.  On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS held at 0.38, GREATEST PARTY STORY EVER dropped 0.05 to 0.21, and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was down 0.03 to 0.16.  FX’s BASKETS dropped 0.11 in its 2d week to 0.35.  On Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY JR ticked up to 0.34, and CHILD GENIUS fell 0.04 to 0.16.  Comedy Central’s WORKAHOLICS lost 0.07 to 0.31, and IDIOTSITTER was similarly down 0.08 to 0.19.  On We, GROWING UP HIP HOP was down 0.04 to 0.29, and TAMAR & VINCE fell a tenth to 0.19.  IFC’s PORTLANDIA dropped 0.04 to 0.07.  BBCAmerica’s LONDON SPY lost 0.02 for 0.02/95K.
