NETWORK UPDATE:  There was some welcome news for ABC in final numbers, as both SCANDAL and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER gained 0.1 (although each was still down 0.3 from last week).  In addition, THE BIG BANG THEORY had its customary 0.1 bump.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The season premiere of History’s VIKINGS topped Thursday cable with 0.82, down 0.15 from last year’s premiere.  Its lead-out was the new JOIN OR DIE, which aired 2 half-hours at 0.24/0.17.  TNT’s NBA doubleheader had the #2 and #4 slots at 0.80/0.77.  Between them was USA’s WWE, up 0.03 to 0.78, with lead-out COLONY down 0.09 to 0.30.  Spike’s LIP SYNC BATTLE rose 0.09 to 0.67.  On HGTV, FLIP OR FLOP gained 0.13 to 0.66, HOUSE HUNTERS ticked down to 0.46, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL was up 0.03 to 0.47.  The conclusion of CNN’s REPUBLICAN TOWN HALL coverage hit the Top 10 at 0.56, and the DEMOCRATIC TOWN HALL on MSNBC was at 0.25.  Fox Sports 1’s NASCAR race was at 0.54.  On Tru, IMPRACTICAL JOKERS fell 0.11 to 0.40, and THOSE WHO CAN’T lost 0.06 to 0.16.  On Bravo, TOP CHEF edged down 0.02 to 0.37, and RECIPE FOR DECEPTION was up 0.04 to 0.13.  MTV’s RIDICULOUSNESS gained a hundredth to 0.34, but GREATEST PARTY STORY EVER rose 0.09 to 0.25.  On Comedy Central, WORKAHOLICS was down 0.02 to 0.33, and IDIOTSITTER fell 0.03 to 0.17.  FX’s BASKETS climbed 0.04 to 0.31.  On Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS was down 0.05 to 0.27, and CHILD GENIUS lost 0.02 to 0.15.  On We, TAMAR & VINCE dropped 0.02 to 0.24.  IFC’s PORTLANDIA ticked down to 0.07.  The finale of BBCAmerica’s LONDON SPY found an extra hundredth to 0.03/96K.
