NETWORK FINALS:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS dropped 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  It was a bad night for pay-cable premieres.  On Starz, there were absolutely dismal debuts for SWEETBITTER at 0.01/38K and VIDA at 0.01/20K.  It’s worth noting that neither of these shows was made available via VOD prior to linear premiere, so they don’t even have that excuse.  Meanwhile, on Showtime I’M DYING UP HERE returned at 0.04/168K, which was actually up 0.01 from the 2017 premiere (which had been previously available on various platforms), but down 0.03 from the finale.  It was the lead-out to BILLIONS, up 0.04 from last week’s 10PM airing to 0.25, and THE CIRCUS started the night steady at 0.03/189K.  On networks more people were watching, AMC’s FEAR THE WALKING DEAD again led scripted, although down 0.12 to 0.85, with INTO THE BADLANDS down 0.11 to 0.33, and TALKING DEAD down 0.05 to 0.17.  On HBO, WESTWORLD dropped 0.08 to 0.64, LAST WEEK TONIGHT returned from a week off at 0.42, SILICON VALLEY fell 0.08 to 0.38, and BARRY was up 0.04 to 0.23.  On Adult Swim, MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES gained 0.04 to 0.56, and BALLMASTRZ 9009 was at 0.35/0.27 compared to last week’s 0.35/0.32.  On TBS, JOKERS WILD lost 0.05 to 0.29, and DROP THE MIC was down 0.03 to 0.25.  Hallmark’s GOOD WITCH dipped 0.03 to 0.23.  On E!, THE ARRANGEMENT dropped 0.05 to 0.16, and THE ROYALS was down 0.03 to 0.13.  BBCAmerica’s KILLING EVE continued to show modest progress, up 0.02 to 0.13.  FX’s TRUST was pulverized, down 0.11 to 0.08, although last week had shot up 0.09, suggesting that it was the aberration.

None of the scripted offerings could touch TNT’s NBA PLAYOFFS game at 1.60.  On Discovery, NAKED & AFRAID was at 0.57/0.51 compared to last week’s 0.48/0.46.  Fox Sports 1’s NASCAR race was at 0.47.  NBC Sports Net’s NHL PLAYOFFS game was at 0.44.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE POTOMAC rose 0.08 to 0.42, and SOUTHERN CHARM ticked up to 0.26.  HGTV’s line-up was led by MEXICO LIFE at 0.39/0.36, compared to last week’s 0.30/0.30.  On Food Network’s GUY’S GROCERY GAMES climbed 0.09 to 0.37, and WORST COOKS IN AMERICA was down 0.04 to 0.36.  On TLC, LONG ISLAND MEDIUM gained 0.06 to 0.33, and LONG LOST FAMILY ticked up to 0.26.  On ID, BREAKING HOMICIDE was at 0.28 compared to last week’s 0.31/0.29, and DISAPPEARED ticked down to 0.23.  Paramount’s BAR RESCUE dropped 0.06 to 0.26.
