NETWORK FINALS:  SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL adjusted to 5.6, down 0.4 from last week’s game.  Elsewhere, THE SIMPSONS fell 0.5 after football adjustment, while BLESS THE HARTS, BOB’S BURGERS and 60 MINUTES lost 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  It’s a familiar story by now that when AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD returns, it’s still big but not nearly as big as it used to be.  The Season 10 premiere was at 1.44, down 42% from the 2.49 Season 9 premiere, and down 23% from last season’s 1.86 finale.  TALKING DEAD was down 0.25 from the night of the Season 9 premiere to 0.52.  In addition, USA’s MR. ROBOT returned for its final season at 0.13, down 0.17 from its last premiere in 2017. 

Starz’s POWER led the rest of scripted, up 0.09 to 0.52, with POWER CONFIDENTIAL up 0.04 to 0.20.  Adult Swim’s ROBOT CHICKEN was at 0.30/0.28 compared to last week’s 0.35/0.34.  On HBO, LAST WEEK TONIGHT slipped 0.02 to 0.23, THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES gained 0.03 to 0.22, BALLERS rose 0.03 to 0.18, and SUCCESSION was up 0.04 to 0.15.  On Showtime, THE AFFAIR ticked down to 0.06, ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA lost a tick to 0.02/161K, and THE CIRCUS was also off a tick to 0.03/224K.

TBS’s MLB PLAYOFFS games were at 0.90/0.61.  On TLC, 90 DAY FIANCE rebounded by 0.13 to 0.90 (the aftershow was down 0.03 to 0.30), and UNEXPECTED ticked up to 0.42.  E!’s KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS returned at 0.38, and E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY was at 0.11.  On Food Network, HALLOWEEN WARS was at 0.30 compared to last week’s 0.39/0.28, and HAUNTED GINGERBREAD SHOWDOWN was at 0.26, with the morning’s GIRL MEETS FARM at 0.24.  Bravo’s MARRIED TO MEDICINE dipped 0.03 to 0.27.  On Discovery, ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER climbed 0.04 to 0.21, and RIVER OF NO RETURN was at 0.20.  MTV’s RIDICULOUSNESS was at 0.20 compared to last week’s 0.22/0.20.  HGTV’s line-up was led by CARIBBEAN LIFE, steady at 0.19.  VH1’s WILD N OUT was at 0.07/0.07 compared to last week’s 0.15/0.15.  FX’s THE WEEKLY was at 0.06.
