NETWORK FINALS:  Game 3 of the WORLD SERIES adjusted up half a point to 5.2.  Elsewhere, MACGYVER and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES each lost 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Once again, sports and news took up most of the cable Top 10.  ESPN’s NBA games occupied 2 of the Top 3 slots, with Golden State vs. New Orleans at 0.83, and Cleveland vs. Toronto at 0.59.  The FBI propelled Fox News into 5 of the remaining top slots, led by HANNITY at 0.50.  (CNN voters–er, viewers–didn’t want to hear about it, with a top 18-49 rating of 0.30 for ANDERSON COOPER 360, and less than half the top Fox News rating, 3.9M vs. 1.5M.)  The only non-sports, non-news telecast in a top slot was Discovery’s GOLD RUSH, down 0.11 from last week to 0.83.  On HBO, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER returned at 0.34, and TRACY ULLMAN’S SHOW premiered at 0.11.  On TLC, KINDRED SPIRITS gained 0.07 to 0.22, and 2 episodes of A HAUNTING were up 0.02 to 0.20.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL fell 0.06 to 0.28, and HOUSE HUNTERS was down 0.06 to 0.24.  Syfy’s Z NATION ticked up to 0.24, and VAN HELSING was steady at 0.16.  OWN’s FOR BETTER OR WORSE added a tick to 0.20.  We’s MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP dropped 0.03 to 0.19, and MY LIFE IS A TELENOVELA was down 0.04 to 0.05.  Food Network’s BURGERS, BREW & QUE lost 0.09 to 0.17.  History’s DOOMSDAY was at 0.14/0.12, down from 0.24 last week.    The season finale of Cinemax’s QUARRY held at 0.05/178K.
