NETWORK RATINGS:  The NFL exhibition HALL OF FAME GAME adjusted up to 3.6 in final numbers (and as expected, the MR. ROBINSON reruns fell to twin 0.6s).  In addition, BIG BROTHER gained 0.1, while the CSI: CYBER rerun dropped 0.1.  Both BOB’S BURGERS reruns went up by 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The season finale of TRUE DETECTIVE, for all the invective that went its way, climbed 0.24 from last week to top Sunday cable at 1.21–although that was still down quite a bit from the 1.57 earned by the 2014 finale.  BALLERS rose by 0.11 to 0.87, but THE BRINK dropped 0.07 to 0.39, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT fell 0.04 to 0.38.  Showtime just announced renewals for RAY DONOVAN (down 0.04 to 0.44) and MASTERS OF SEX (down 0.01 to 0.15), and the latter certainly confirms that for pay TV networks, ratings aren’t always the key consideration.  Discovery’s NAKED AND AFRAID rose 0.05 to 0.14.  On Adult Swim, RICK & MORTY lost 0.15 to 0.97, and YOUR PRETTY FACE was down 0.06 to 0.49.  NBC Sports Net scored 0.85 with NASCAR coverage.  On TNT, THE LAST SHIP was down a tick to 0.76, and FALLING SKIES gained 0.02 to 0.54.  AMC’s HUMANS jumped 0.08 to 0.42.  FOOD NETWORK STAR fell 0.11 to 0.73, with a lead-in special at 0.55, and CUTTHROAT KITCHEN down 0.06 to 0.44.  VH1’s BASKETBALL WIVES shed 0.02 to 0.72.  THE STRAIN (FX) climbed 0.05 to 0.57.  On E!, I AM CAIT stabilized after last week’s plunge, down 0.03 to 0.54, with STEWARTS & HAMILTONS steady at 0.14.  BAR RESCUE (Spike) dropped 0.07 to 0.48.  On Bravo, MARRIED TO MEDICINE fell 0.07 to 0.38, and MOTHER FUNDERS ticked down to 0.21.  BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK (POP) was at 0.05/122K.  Some reader requests:  on Nick Jr, JULIUS JR was at 0.08/296K, and DIGIMON was at 0.03/143K and 0.03/92K, while on DAM, PROJECT AFTERLIFE was at 0.07/243K.
