Revised Nielsen Ratings Schedule This Week and Next

Nielsen announced planned delays for daily national ratings (cable and broadcast programs) the rest of this week.  This is how the week’s ratings should roll out.  We will update these times if anything changes.

  • Saturday Jan 10 nationals rescheduled to Tuesday 1 pm 3 pm PT (normally Tuesday morning)
  • Sunday Jan 11 nationals rescheduled to Tuesday 1 pm 3 pm PT (normally Tuesday morning)
  • Monday Jan 12 nationals rescheduled to Wednesday 6 am PT (normally Tuesday afternoon)
  • Tuesday Jan 13 nationals rescheduled to Thursday 6 am PT (normally Wednesday afternoon)
  • Wednesday Jan 14 nationals rescheduled to Friday 6 am PT (normally Thursday afternoon)
  • Thursday Jan 15 nationals still scheduled for Friday 1 pm PT (normal time)

And more planned delays for daily nationals ratings for most of next week because of the MLK Holiday.

  • Friday Jan 16 nationals rescheduled to Tuesday Jan 20, 1 pm PT (normally Monday afternoon)
  • Saturday Jan 17 nationals rescheduled to Wednesday Jan 21, 6 am PT (normally Tuesday morning)
  • Sunday Jan 18 nationals rescheduled to Wednesday Jan 21, 6 am PT (normally Tuesday morning)
  • Monday Jan 19 nationals rescheduled to Wednesday Jan 21, 1 pm PT (normally Tuesday afternoon)
  • Tuesday Jan 20 nationals rescheduled to Thursday Jan 22, 6 am PT (normally Wednesday afternoon)
  • Wednesday Jan 21 nationals still scheduled for Thursday Jan 22, 1 pm PT (normal time)
  • Thursday Jan 22 nationals still scheduled for Friday Jan 22, 1 pm PT (normal time)

As usual, the “fast nationals” (more precisely the “fast affiliate nationals”) will continue to be released each morning at 8 am PT for the previous night’s preliminary prime time ratings on the broadcast networks.
